Scott Brittain, PhD
Scott Brittain is the founder of PharmacoExcellence, LLC, a company specializing in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation. Scott earned his PhD in chemistry at Harvard University and has been in the pharmaceutical industry for 15 years, most recently as the head of clinical research for Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He has extensive experience in clinical pharmacology and clinical program development, including protocol design and data analysis. Scott has specialized knowledge of modeling and simulation methods including noncompartmental analysis (NCA), population pharmacokinetics using non-linear mixed effects modeling (NONMEM), concentration-effect (PK/PD) modeling, clinical trials simulation and in-vitro in-vivo correlation (IVIVC).
